Cookie policy.
This site uses as few cookies as it can, and nothing non-essential runs until you allow it. This page lists every cookie we set, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to change your mind at any time. It is issued by norvelle technologies inc.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages and between visits, such as whether you are signed in or what you chose the last time you were here.
How we use them
As little as possible. A company that asks clinics to trust it with health information should be able to show its homework on a cookie page, and here the homework is short: a few strictly necessary cookies that make the site work, one optional analytics tool, and nothing else.
One decision shapes everything on this page. Quebec's Law 25 sets the most demanding cookie consent rules in Canada, and we apply that standard to every visitor, wherever in the country you are. In practice:
- Nothing non-essential fires before you consent. No analytics, no tags, no exceptions.
- Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Both are one click, side by side, equal size.
- Your choice is remembered. We ask again periodically (our practice is roughly every six months), or sooner if this policy changes.
- You can change your mind whenever you like. The "Manage cookie preferences" link in the footer reopens the banner.
We chose one national standard because it is simpler, and because a privacy-first company should not need a map to decide how honest to be.
The cookies we set
Three categories. Everything this site sets is listed here, with the duration each one actually carries.
Strictly necessary
These make the site function. They do no tracking and are exempt from consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | norvelle technologies inc. (this site) | Holds your session so the site works as you move between pages. | 2 hours |
| Security token (CSRF) | norvelle technologies inc. (this site) | Protects forms on this site against cross-site request forgery. | 2 hours |
| Consent memory | norvelle technologies inc. (this site) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected. A matching record in your browser's local storage keeps when you answered and which version of this policy you saw, so we do not ask on every visit. | 182 days |
Analytics
Set only after you choose "Accept analytics" in the banner, and only while analytics is switched on for this site at all. Until then, none of these exist in your browser.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Google LLC | Tells us, in aggregate, which pages are read and how visitors move through the site. It shows us aggregate patterns, not named individuals. | Set by Google, 2 years by default |
Google processes analytics data on servers in the United States. We say that plainly because you should not have to read a subprocessor list to find it out. If that does not sit right with you, choose Reject: the site works identically.
Marketing
None. This site sets no advertising cookies and no social media tracking cookies. No ad pixels, no retargeting. That is not a category we plan to add.
Your choices
The banner. On your first visit, the banner asks one question. "Accept analytics" or "Reject", one click each, same size, same step. Nothing non-essential runs until you answer.
The footer link. "Manage cookie preferences" sits in the footer of every page. It reopens the banner so you can change your answer at any time. The change takes effect immediately.
Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, for one site or for all of them. Instructions are in your browser's help pages. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of this site from working, such as forms.
What refusing costs you: nothing worth worrying about. Reject analytics and every page still loads and every feature still works. We simply learn less about how the site is used, and that is our problem, not yours.
Consent records
When you answer the banner, we keep a record: the choice you made, the time you made it, and the version of this policy that was in front of you. That record is proof that we asked and that you answered, for you and for us. We retain it for as long as your consent is what we rely on, and it is the first thing we would produce if a regulator asked.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the cookies on this site change. Any change that would introduce a non-essential cookie gets more than an updated page: the banner comes back and asks before anything new fires.
