For home oxygen vendors

Home oxygen software for Canadian vendors.

Home oxygen software is the system a home oxygen vendor uses to run equipment, funding and billing for patients on oxygen at home: norvelle records each concentrator and portable unit with its serial number against the patient, keeps the funding programme, the insurer and the patient's share on one invoice, and bills rentals and supplies on the cycle you set.

Equipment on the record

Every unit, by serial number, against a patient.

A concentrator leaves the warehouse on an invoice line, and that line is what puts it on the patient's record.

  • The serial or device number of the exact unit is recorded on the line and prints on the invoice.
  • Stationary concentrators, portable units, cylinders, cannulas and tubing all sit on the same record.
  • Every line names the warehouse it ships from, so head office can see where the unit came from.
  • Supplies carry a replacement interval, so the record shows what is due rather than what was promised.

Authorizations and renewals

What the funder asked for, kept with the money.

Add the programme you bill

Your payer directory starts with the funders and insurers our clinics bill, and you add the oxygen programme you work with, with its own coverage rule.

The approval number where it belongs

The approval or claim reference a funder requires is recorded against that funder's share of the invoice, not in a note somebody has to find.

Rentals bill on their own cycle

A monthly rental and a supplies plan every 3, 6 or 12 months each bill on schedule, at the price frozen onto the plan.

Renewals read as revenue

Reports separate new setups from recurring revenue, by clinic and by staff member, exported to Excel or emailed on a schedule.

Who pays for the oxygen

The programme, the insurer and the patient, on one invoice.

Home oxygen is rarely paid by one party. The invoice stays at full price and each payer's share comes off it, in the order you rank them.

  • A coverage rule is a percentage of a named base or a fixed amount, and each payer carries its own.
  • Their shares together can never add up to more than the invoice total.
  • The patient's share is the remainder, and payment is taken from the method they authorized.
  • A denial is recorded and answered in one step: bill the patient, write the share off, or appeal.
  • One cheque from a funder can be applied across many invoices.
