From referral to resupply.

norvelle is the EMR for Canadian respiratory, sleep and home oxygen clinics. One record carries the patient from the referral through the sleep study, the funding decision and the equipment setup, to a resupply plan that bills on schedule.

Everything below is a screen your team works in, in the order a clinic reaches them.

The journey

The clinic day, screen by screen.

Eight screens, in the order a respiratory clinic actually hits them.

01Referral

Every referral lands on a record.

The referral starts the chart: who sent the patient, which doctor, which clinic, recorded as the file is created.

  • Seven referral sources captured at intake, plus walk-ins
  • The referring doctor roster builds itself as your team types
  • Book the first appointment and the reminder goes out

02Registration

Health cards checked as they are typed.

Format rules for all 13 provinces and territories, plus federal coverage, run before the chart exists.

  • Ontario numbers are checksum verified, version code and all
  • Near matches on name and date of birth are flagged before a duplicate is made
  • Notes, consents and signatures sit on the same record

03Funding

Who pays, before you bill.

Public coverage and private policies sit on the chart, ranked primary, secondary and tertiary, with the payer picked from your directory. Every rule norvelle applies is listed under funding and insurers, and the Ontario split, line by line, is on Assistive Devices Program (ADP) billing for CPAP clinics.

  • 22 Canadian payers to start, from ADP and NIHB to the private insurers
  • Named coverage rules, such as ADP APAP at 75 per cent
  • Authorization numbers, approved items and expiry dates on the policy

04Equipment

Every serial on the record.

Machines, masks and consumables are dispensed on the invoice line that bills them, so the serial and the sale never drift apart.

  • Eight parts tracked against their replacement interval
  • Serial and device number on the line, the chart and the printed invoice
  • Loaners and trial units kept in their own register
  • Therapy and compliance data from the device, on the chart

05Billing

One invoice, insurer and patient.

The insurer share subtracts from the patient portion on the same invoice. No second document, no discount line, no reconciliation afterwards.

  • A percentage of an approved price, or a fixed amount, per line or per invoice
  • The split is applied when the invoice is issued
  • Submit the insurer share and bring the remittance back against it

06Payment

Paid without chasing the patient.

Card, pre-authorized debit, a pay link or AutoPay, taken against the invoice and settled to the clinic that earned it.

  • Card details are entered in the processor's own fields and never reach norvelle
  • Pay links go out with the invoice and expire on their own
  • AutoPay charges the card or the bank account when the invoice is issued

07Auto resupply

Resupply that bills itself.

Set the cycle and the lines once. Each cycle raises the invoice, sends it, and takes the payment if the patient is on AutoPay. The whole of auto resupply has a page of its own.

  • Weekly, every two weeks, monthly, or every 3, 6 or 12 months, pinned to a day you choose
  • Pause, resume or end a plan without unpicking the history
  • Rentals, home oxygen concentrators included, bill on the same cycle

08Follow-up

The numbers, by location.

Revenue split between new setups and resupply, receivables aged across seven buckets, and a collections list that builds itself.

  • Nine measures, per location or across the group
  • Every reminder, pay link, call and write-off logged against the invoice
  • Text, email and fax from one shared inbox
End of the walkthrough.

By clinic type

Three clinics, three pages.

Sleep clinics

The referral, the patient, the equipment and the funding on one record, then the resupply that follows.

CPAP clinics

Machines, masks and consumables on the chart that bills them, with the replacement clock running underneath.

Home oxygen

Concentrators and cylinders tracked by serial, rentals that bill on their cycle, and the programme that pays part of it.

Built for every group size

One login for the whole group.

A holding company login rolls up every brand it is granted: revenue, receivables, collections and payment volume, then drills into any one of them.

  • Every brand in one roll-upRevenue, receivables and aging, collections rate and payment volume, totalled across the brands an executive holds.
  • Permissions that match the org chart95 permissions across global, tenant and location scope, so a regional manager and a front desk never see the same screen.
  • An independent runs the same systemOne clinic uses what fifty use. Add a brand or a location and nothing has to be bought again.
