CPAP clinic software for Canadian clinics.
CPAP clinic software is the system a CPAP clinic or home medical equipment vendor uses to run therapy equipment and the billing around it: norvelle keeps every part of a patient's setup on one equipment card, tracks mask exchanges back to the manufacturer, and bills resupply with the co-pay on every plan invoice.
The equipment card
Eight parts, each on its own clock.
What the patient goes home on is recorded where it is billed, so the card and the sale can never drift apart.
- Machine, mask and frame, cushion, filter, tubing, water tub and headgear, each with a replacement interval.
- Mask size and product code sit on the part, not in a note.
- Every line records the serial or device number of the exact unit that went home, and prints it on the invoice.
- The card is worked out from the patient's own purchases, so nothing has to be kept up by hand.
What each interval is, and where it comes from: the CPAP replacement clock.
Mask exchanges
The exchange that is already paid for.
A mask that fails under the manufacturer's warranty is replaced at the desk, and the register remembers what is owed back.
Resupply and the co-pay
Replacement supplies bill themselves.
Funding on the invoice
The programme pays its share of the approved price.
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) is the provincial programme that funds respiratory equipment for residents who qualify, and it is a payer on the invoice like any other.
- Its coverage rule is a percentage of the programme's approved price, not of your retail price.
- The invoice stays at full price, and the patient's share is the remainder.
- The approval number the programme requires is recorded with the payer's share.
- The share is tracked from approved to submitted, paid, denied or written off, and can be billed as its own invoice.
